Lots one through twenty-three are reserved for seasonal campers only. The full-scale camping season runs from April 15th through October 15th with all facilities open and available for your use. During this period the main entrance remains unlocked at all times.
All seasonal campers have the right to use the campground year round and will be issued one key to the main gate and are free to come and go as they please. However, for security reasons, the main gate must remain closed and locked at all times. During this off season period, water to each individual site will be shut off and the bath-house will be closed to protect water lines from freezing.
In an effort to keep our campground attractive and modern-looking, we do not accept campers for seasonal rentals over fifteen years old. However, if you have an older model that has been painted and well-maintained, talk to us about an inspection approval.
All seasonal campers must apply for electrical service in their name and be responsible for the payment of all electrical bills. In accordance with the rules set forth by the ALLEGHENY POWER COMPANY, each lot must have its own electrical meter. The renter of each seasonal lot must apply for a meter to be installed and should do so by calling CUSTOMER SERVICE @ 1-800-255-3443. If a meter from a previous seasonal renter remains on your lot, you can give them the meter number and it will be transferred to your name. A lock and key deposit (refundable) must be paid to the campground before the electric can be turned on. Each seasonal lot is equipped with a lockable electrical breaker box to insure you control over the use of the electrical service. The amount of the lock and key deposit is $20.00.
Each site is equipped with an individual weatherproof 20 AMP or 30 AMP 110 volt duplex receptacle.
All seasonal sites have individual water spigots. This service is included in your annual camping fee. We ask that all water faucets be turned off completely when not in use.
On-site wastewater and sewage disposal is handled according to guidelines set forth by the Greenbrier County Health Department. Sewage must be pumped and transported to the campground dump station. We provide on-site pump-out service, free of charge, to all campers. We pump-out on Monday mornings on a regular basis. We encourage all campers to use our central bath-house for hot showers and flush toilets. As a matter of environmental awareness all campers are asked to use biodegradable detergents and soaps. Garbage disposals are permitted.
Soon or later most RV owners become travel weary and look for a permanent place to set up camp. It is very convenient to drive to a familiar spot and have your camper ready and waiting. Seasonal rentals will take most of the work out of your weekend.
